    Nursing Staff Needed!

Dates: July 7-13 OR July 7-20 (Option to stay for 1, one-week session or 2, one-week sessions). Primary need is the first session -- July 7 - 13, but we would love to have the same person for both.

Logistics: Camp Wilmot is a small, rustic camp in Wilmot, NH tucked in the mountains on our own pond. Nurses stay on site along with about 20 staff and 30-50 campers. Salary is $650/week alongside room and board. We also offer tuition discounts for immediate family members who are interested in attending as campers.

Duties: At check-in, Nurses meet with parents and campers and say hello, performing a basic health check and receiving any medications the campers need to be given during camp (ADHD or sleep meds are the most common).  Daily duties would consist of distributing any daily meds to campers (most are usually breakfast or a few before bed) and then being on-call for any health problems that show up! Most are pretty minor -- cuts, tick bites, stomachaches that may or may not be homesickness related, etc. In the case of emergencies, New London Hospital is 20 minutes away with which the camp has a standing relationship. The Nurse is also responsible for keeping records of medical care provided to campers, using the camp's designated forms and record-keeping system.

Outside of these duties, a Nurse's days are pretty much their own! Nurses are welcome to join in on programming, to relax in their cabin, swim in the pond, etc!

License: A New Hampshire medical license is required- RN, EMT, MD, GP, PA, NP (or the ability to transfer/apply for one)

Contact: Interested Nurses can reach the Camp Directors at or go to
