REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE

The City of Worcester seeks applicants for the position of Regional Public Health Nurse to provide investigation and case management of all assigned reportable diseases within the three (3) cities and towns of the Central MA Regional Public Health Alliance (CMRPHA). Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief Public Health Nurse, the Regional Public Health Nurse, will provide COVID case management and contact tracing as well as specialized case management for tuberculosis patients. The incumbent will work with community partner organizations and agencies to coordinate the care of patients and do so in a culturally competent manner. Additionally, the role includes the investigation of foodborne illness complaints, blood pressure clinics and supporting mass dispensing operations. The role requires the use of the Massachusetts Epidemiological Virtual Network (MAVEN) and the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
SALARY: $23.63 - $31.50 hourly, full-time, excellent benefits package.
